From world records to worldwide reach
Q: What inspired you to get into social media content creation?
A: I've always wanted to be a singer/songwriter, and with the rise of TikTok, I started to see other aspiring musicians utilizing social media to share their music. I was inspired to do the same and started posting my original songs, covers, and other fun little videos.
Facetune faves: Capri's top picks
Q: What are your top 3 favorite features in Facetune?
A: My top 3 features on Facetune are:
- The filters - they make my IG feed look cohesive and aesthetic
- The Retouch/Smooth effect - sometimes you can get a great picture but the lighting is off, or you have a big pimple that you want to get rid of lol
- The Vanish tool
A: Absolutely! Here are my tips:
- For the filter tool, I suggest picking one or two of your favorites and sticking to coloring all your pics that way to create your own personal aesthetic and help build your social brand.
- When it comes to the Retouch/Smooth effect, it's important to use it subtly. You want to make your pics look naturally effortless.
- The Vanish tool is already very accurate, but I like to zoom in and really try to be as precise as I can to make the picture look as clean as possible. Sometimes I'll use this to remove graffiti on a wall, an extra object in the background, or anything that just doesn't work with the whole aesthetic.
A day in the life of Capri
Q: Can you walk us through a typical day in your life as a content creator?
A: As a full-time content creator/artist, I typically split my day up into 3 parts:
- First, I like to go for a run, workout, or do some other type of physical activity.
- Next, I plan content, film, and edit.
- Finally, I like to end my days by going to the studio to write for myself or other artists.
Balancing act: Content creation and community management
Q: How do you balance creating content with managing your large following?
A: I like to think of social media as a fun way to share my creativity and personality, so I try my best not to overthink my content too much. If it feels fun for me to create, I feel like people will have fun watching it!
Capri's top tip for aspiring creators

I love to follow very aesthetic creators that have a really unique look and feel to their content, and Facetune is the best place to grow and develop that for yourself.
